The Chequers is the perfect scenic venue for a small to medium sized wedding reception. With wonderful photo opportunities in the gardens and on the village green, and a stylish yet relaxed ambience in the pub and restaurant it is perfect backdrop for the big day. And not forgetting the excellent catering, we offer a choice of menus, or our head chef will work with you to create a menu to suit your needs.  

 

For those wanting all day wedding we can cater for up to 80 seated guests in the restaurant for the wedding breakfast or luncheon. The evening reception can then move into the marquee in our substantial grounds; a 60 x 40 foot marquee can accommodate dancing and buffet.
