We are conveniently situated on the Herts / Essex border close to the M11 in the beautiful village of Matching Green in a traditional red brick building that overlooks the large village green. A perfect choice if you are looking for a cost effective, semi-rural, scenic location for your event or special occasion.

We regularly host weddings, special occasions (including milestone birthdays and anniversaries), christening parties and corporate functions in our restaurant. We can accommodate 80 people seated comfortably in our restaurant but can also erect varying size marquees in our lovely large garden area if required. Our terrace area is another option and is perfect for alfresco dining in the summer. 

We also run an outside catering service if you have another venue in mind for your wedding reception or corporate event.
